PRIVACY POLICY STATEMENT

PhoneValidator.com (“us,” “we,” or “Company”) provides phone number validation services exclusively targeted to business customers. While the Site is accessible to the public, our services are designed for business use. We do not collect, store, or use Personal Information (PII) as defined under consumer data privacy laws, including but not limited to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), UK GDPR, or similar laws.

We emphasize that PhoneValidator.com does not collect or process any Personal Information from visitors or customers as defined under these laws. Searches performed on the Site—whether free or paid—do not involve submission or storage of names, email addresses, or other identifiers linked to individuals. Phone numbers submitted for validation are not used to identify individuals and are not treated as Personal Information under applicable privacy laws.

For international users, including those in the European Union (EU) or United Kingdom (UK), we note that IP addresses and certain cookie identifiers may be considered personal data under the GDPR/UK GDPR in some contexts (e.g., when they can be used to indirectly identify a person). However, we process such data solely for legitimate purposes such as site functionality, security (including abuse detection and prevention of scraping), basic analytics, and service improvement, and we do not link it to identifiable individuals or use it for profiling, marketing, or other purposes that would require additional consent under GDPR. We rely on legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR/UK GDPR) as the legal basis for this limited processing where applicable, as it is necessary for our core operations and proportionate given the minimal privacy impact. No consent is required for these essential non-personalized uses.

We do not offer goods or services specifically targeted to individuals in the EU/UK, nor do we monitor behavior for commercial purposes beyond what is strictly necessary for the Site's operation.

1. INTRODUCTION

1.1. PURPOSE OF POLICY. PhoneValidator.com (“us,” “we,” or “Company”) is committed to respecting the privacy rights of users of https://www.phonevalidator.com (the “Site”). We created this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to clearly state that we do not collect or use Personal Information (PII) as traditionally understood. The only data we collect from all visitors consists of non-personal or limited technical information such as IP addresses and cookie data for site functionality, security, analytics, and abuse prevention. For EU/UK users, this limited processing falls under legitimate interests and does not involve personal data processing requiring consent in our view, though we comply with transparency obligations.

1.2. NOTICE CONCERNING CHILDREN. This Site is not targeted towards children under the age of 13 nor intended to be used by them in any manner whatsoever. Similarly, it is not directed at or intended for children under 16 (or the applicable age under GDPR/UK GDPR) in the EU/UK.

2. INFORMATION COLLECTION PRACTICES

2.1. PERSONAL INFORMATION (PII). We do not collect, store, or use any Personal Information (PII) as defined by consumer privacy laws such as the CCPA, GDPR, or similar regulations. This includes no collection of names, email addresses, phone numbers linked to individuals, or other identifiers that could reasonably identify a natural person without additional data. Anonymous visitors perform searches without providing any PII. Registered customers provide only account-related details (e.g., email for login and billing) necessary for service access, but these are limited and not used beyond service provision. Phone numbers submitted for validation are processed transiently and not stored in a manner that constitutes PII collection under these laws.

A. No PII from Searches. Search results and phone validation activities do not involve PII. We do not associate phone numbers queried with any individual persons.

B. Contact Inquiries. If you contact us via email, any information provided (e.g., name, email) is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not stored for marketing or other purposes beyond that interaction.

C. Modification or Removal. Since we do not collect or maintain PII as defined under applicable laws (including GDPR), and search results contain no personally identifiable information, removal or erasure requests under privacy laws (e.g., right to erasure under GDPR Article 17) do not apply to anonymous search data. For any limited account data, contact us directly.

D. Do Not Track Signals. We do not honor browser Do Not Track signals.

E. Third-Party Tracking. Third parties such as Google, Facebook, and others may track activity via cookies or similar technologies for analytics and advertising. We do not share PII with them, as we collect none. You can manage cookie preferences or use tools like Privacy Badger to limit tracking. For EU/UK users: Where third-party cookies involve personal data (e.g., identifiers), their use may require consent under the ePrivacy Directive/PECR; we recommend reviewing their policies and adjusting browser settings accordingly.

F. California Eraser Law. We do not allow user-generated content, so this does not apply.

2.2 NON-PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

A. AUTOMATIC COLLECTION. Our servers automatically collect IP addresses and use cookies for all visitors. This information is technical/non-personal in our usage and collected for site operation, security (e.g., detecting abuse or scraping), analytics, and improving services. We track aggregate anonymous usage data, such as pages visited and session duration, but do not link this to individuals. For GDPR/UK GDPR purposes, to the extent IP addresses or cookie IDs qualify as personal data, processing is limited to legitimate interests (e.g., preventing fraud/abuse, ensuring Site security and functionality) and is not used for unrelated purposes.

B. Analytics and Advertising. Third parties (e.g., Google Analytics, advertising networks) use cookies to collect anonymous visit data. We may use first-party cookies to store IP addresses temporarily for security and to enhance user experience. You can disable cookies in your browser settings. EU/UK users may have additional rights regarding cookies under ePrivacy rules.

C. Financial Information. Purchases redirect to third-party processors; we do not collect financial details.

D. Search Logs. We may store anonymized search logs including IP addresses and queried phone numbers solely for abuse prevention, service improvement, and compliance. For paid customers, logs may include account identifiers (e.g., email) for billing and support. Phone numbers are not retained in identifiable form or repurposed. We do not sell, share, or reuse phone numbers submitted by users. Under GDPR, such logs are not treated as involving personal data of data subjects.

3. USE AND SHARING OF INFORMATION

3.1. WHAT WE DO WITH COLLECTED INFORMATION

A. No Personal Information. Since we do not collect PII under applicable definitions, there is no personal information to share except limited account details with service providers (e.g., hosting, payment processors) under strict confidentiality for site maintenance only.
